Team building using personality profiles
Often front-line leaders are competent technicians, but lack people skills. This can lead to conflict, low morale and loss of productivity.
The Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) is a first step in getting almost any team performing well. It also gives managers an ongoing tool to coach each person on specific challenges, and do this in a non-threatening way. High-performing teams like the All Blacks use it for the following outcomes:
higher levels of trust within the team
an understanding of their strengths and challenges
greater cooperation
a common language and approach to resolving conflict and solving problems
a plan for winning by leveraging individual strengths
